Rihanna has revealed that she is "grateful" to have recorded her hit record 'Umbrella'. The singer, whose song topped the UK chart for ten weeks, admitted that the song helped boost her music career, as well as landing her a huge endorsement deal. "I did have a deal with an umbrella company and they had a range of very good umbrellas,"she told Q magazine.

"This is kind of weird because I grew up in Barbados and there’s not a great culture of umbrellas like there is in the UK and Europe. I guess we have the occasional storm or maybe the Caribbean is more known for its hurricanes and an umbrella isn’t going to get you very far in a situation like that.

"But, yes, I have a few umbrellas. Maybe ten? I dunno, but I am very grateful to the umbrella for what it has done for my career." Rihanna recently celebrated impressive sales of her latest record Loud, which shifted over 300,000 copies in seven days in the UK alone.

Harmonix, look -- we gotta talk. Last DLC pack? It was some good stuff. Great songs, great routines -- we loved it. But these three new tracks coming to Dance Central tomorrow, December 21, for 240 Microsoft Points ($3) each? We're at a loss.

What moves, exactly, will we be prompted to pull off? The "Creepy Guy Spinning the Wheel," as seen in Rihanna's "Disturbia" video? Or what about the "Wear a T-Shirt Describing Your State of Mind or Geographical Location," as made famous by Blur's "Girls and Boys" ... in 1994? Dare we dream of doing the "Well-Off Teenager Making Millions and Living at Home with her Parents Shows the Courage to Persevere," just like Janet showed us in "Control"? [SOURCE]

This week was potentially going to be historic on the Billboard Hot 100, as the digital sales for the "Glee" cover of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" were suggesting that not only would the song debut very high on this week's chart but that it could possibly debut in the top five (and even had an outside chance of capturing the top spot overall).

The "Glee" cast ended up falling a little bit short, but they still put up big numbers even without breaking any records. Their version of "Teenage Dream" debuted at number eight on this week's chart, the show's second-highest chart position of all time. (It's still a few spots short of their cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" which peaked at number four.) The track scored a ton of digital sales but got very little radio airplay compared to the rest of the chart, which is why it fell just a tad short of immortality.

Actress duets with Matthew Morrison on song, which gets mashed up with Gene Kelly classic 'Singin' in the Rain.'

What a wild mash-up of songs about rain! On Tuesday, CMA performer and Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow will make her much-hyped debut on "Glee" in an episode called "The Substitute," and a preview of one of her songs has hit Justjared.com.

Paltrow takes on Rihanna's smash "Umbrella," and Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) appears on the song singing lines from the classic Gene Kelly tune "Singin' in the Rain." The tracks mash up surprisingly well, and not just because of their obvious thematic similarities. Putting a modern, funky edge on the Kelly tune, which appeared in the 1952 film of the same name, updates the track and makes it seem like it could have easily appeared on Rihanna's 2008 hit.

The Grammy Awards will take center stage on Sunday and show producer Ken Ehrlich told Access Hollywood the show has nothing but love for Rihanna, despite what she recently told Carson Daly. On Wednesday, Rihanna told 97.1 AMP radio DJ Carson Daly that she won’t performing this year.

“We messed their show up pretty bad last year,” she said, referring to when she was forced to back out of the show in 2009 after being beaten the night before by then-boyfriend Chris Brown. “They might be a little mad at me.”

But Ken said the Grammys adore the pop star.

Another Rihanna track just leaked! We’re not sure if it will be on her upcoming album or not, it might probably be an old unreleased song.

Click here to listen to Bubble Pop! We love it!

Thanks, Flouorescent!

UPDATE: It is said to be an unreleased song from the Good Girl Gone Bad era and it’s probably a Wil.I.Am production.
