At times it may seem like super busy Rihanna is in two places at once, but now she can be! A new wax figure of the star was unveiled at Madame Tussauds at the Venetian in Las Vegas on Tuesday (November 13).

The “Umbrella” singer’s lifelike copy wore a semi-sheer, white one-legged leotard with white heeled boots and short red hair as she poses with a microphone in hand. Later in the afternoon, a second wax figure was revealed at the famed museum in Hollywood, CA. In this life-like depiction, RiRi dons a colorful, bedazzled two-piece with bright red hair.

The first two singles from RIHANNA's Platinum album LOUD -- "Only Girl (In The World)" and "What’s My Name" -- hit #1 on the BILLBOARD Hot 100, and now it's the third in a row, with "S&M" topping the charts this week.

"RIHANNA's 10th #1 single is a monumental accomplishment and a testament to her incredible artistry," said ISLAND DEF JAM MUSIC GROUP Pres./COO STEVE BARTELS. "This was a truly collaborative and creative effort, spearheaded by RIHANNA's tireless work and aided in no small part by the incredible BRITNEY SPEARS and her team. I am extremely proud of RIHANNA, her ongoing dominance on the charts, and the entire IDJ team who worked so diligently to bring this one home."

In 2010, RIHANNA became the first female artist of the past decade to chart six #1s on the Hot 100 when "Rude Boy" went to the top. "Only Girl" pushed RIHANNA in the lead for most #1s (9) since 2000. She was previously tied with USHER at 8 #1s. [SOURCE]

Na-na-na, come on! Wondering how Rihanna got Britney Spears into “S&M”? (Kinda sounds like the beginning of another pop princess porno, doesn’t it?) In a call with New York’s 92.3 NOW FM, the “California King Bed”-ridden beauty reveals how the collaboration came to be, and also jumps in to defend her fellow inked diva when host Lil Cee suggests that Britney’s “nasally” contribution to the track may be bad (and not perfectly good at it). Hear the clip below — it’s almost as exciting as whips and chains, we promise.

'It's very strange: Britney never does features,' Rihanna explains.

What happens when the Femme Fatale herself teams up with one of the Loudest singers in the game? Well, you get the sexy, saucy remix of Rihanna's "S&M" featuring Britney Spears, which dropped Monday (April 11).

The same day the track became available for public consumption, Rihanna called into New York radio station Z-100 to talk about getting the pop star on the track. "At first, we didn't know what the song was going to do because of the lyrics, but it became really big on radio and it's #1 at Pop this week. In order to do a remix, it had to be major," she explained. "I asked my fans last week who they wanted me to collaborate with, and Britney was one of the most popular names."

Rihanna forgives her abusive father for her troubled childhood, because she says he had a bad upbringing himself. (CBS) Turns out Rihanna really meant what she was singing in her recent hit single "S&M." While speaking candidly to Rolling Stone magazine, the 23-year-old pop star has revealed some intimate details of her bedroom behavior.

"I like to take charge, but I love to be submissive," she says. "Being submissive in the bedroom is really fun. You get to be a little lady, to have somebody be macho and in charge. That's sexy to me." She adds, "I work a lot, and I have to make a lot of executive decisions, so when it comes to being intimate, I like to feel like I'm somebody's girl. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned - you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I'd rather have him use his hands."

Rihanna is thinking of abandoning plans to sing S&M at the Brit Awards after she was asked to change the lyrics, according to a report.

S&M has proved to be Rihanna's most controversial single yet, with her record company releasing a 'clean' version for daytime radio play and its raunchy video flagged as inappropriate for under-18s on YouTube. The Barbadian singer was rumoured to be aiming to cause a bit more outrage at Tuesday night's Brits by putting on a show containing a lot of nudity.

According to the Mirror, she may now decide performing S&M is too much hassle, after Brits bosses asked her to tone down the sexual references in the song's lyrics. She is said to be 'fuming' about the request and considering whether to sing something else entirely. A Brits source said: 'She believes she won't do the song justice if she has to change the lyrics and it's a breach of her artistic integrity. She may scrap performing S&M altogether now and choose to do a safe pop number to keep the prudes at bay.' Brits organisers may be more worried about reports in the US that Rihanna is suffering from laryngitis and struggling to be well enough to perform What's My Name? at Sunday's Grammys.

There’s already a couple poptastic options available for the months ahead, but here’s another to consider. Rihanna will support last year’s release of Loud with a North American leg of tour dates beginning June 4th in Baltimore. Only seven stops have been announced thus far, but additional dates are said to be forthcoming.

An issued press release promises an extraordinary show that will feature all new production, costumes and, stage design. “We’re creating an incredible ride with this tour. I’m excited to get out on the road and share my new music from this album.” said Rihanna.

Rihanna's colorful, controversial "S&M" video dropped earlier this week. It plays on the song's themes of, you guessed it, S&M, as well as the celebrity-hungry media and paranoia. Rihanna appears in the video clad in latex and bondage attire. For some, it was too hot, but as the film's director, Melina Matsoukas, explained, the video is meant to be a fun romp through an alternate universe. Matsoukas led us MTV News through the video, frame by frame.

"I guess the first major image is the Cox News thing. It's a bite off of Fox News and trying to and bring in the S&M theme and build on her sadomasochistic relationship with the press," she explained. "So that's what the video is about, and it starts off strong with that message."

Rihanna is pushing buttons with her new video S&M deemed too hot to handle after premiering the cagey video already banned in 11 countries.  Exactly how many times we will go down this road with a creative artist I can no longer count, but Rihanna is keeping fine company and will certainly not be the last.

The 22 year-old takes a walk on the wild side with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton chained to a leash, taking a piss on the lawn for a change instead of dumping on the usually reality star. Nice job Perez, Hollywood calls.  While the video is a fun and racier look than anything Rihanna has put out there in videoland she’s proven to be far more of a seductress in Only Girl (In The World), Take A Bow and Te Amo.

Rihanna has fun with her public image in the new video.

Pop stars have a history of tackling their tabloid headlines in music videos and now Rihanna is having some fun with the media in her "S&M" music video. It's a colorful romp through the singer's sexed-up public persona, complete with an appearance by Perez Hilton and plenty of stereotypical-looking reporter types.

The video was shot by Melina Matsoukas, who also directed Rihanna's equally colorful clip for "Rude Boy." The video opens with Rihanna being dragged kicking and screaming to a press conference, where she is promptly covered with plastic wrap. She wears a dress with headlines written all over it while cooing, "It feels so good being bad." The reporters all take notes while wearing S&M ball gags.

Serving up naughty pictorials is as easy as pie for Rihanna. Who can forget how she dabbled in bondage in her Italian Vogue spread, went topless for GQ’s January 2010 issue, and got blindfolded for UK GQ’s January 2011 issue. So, of course, we expected something really wild, outrageous, and uber-sexy for the cover art for RiRi’s raunchy and amazing new single, “S&M.”

The cover has hit the web (see it above), and it’s…well, a let down! Sure, Rihanna is a sexy goddess, but where’s the whip? Where are the chains? Where’s the kinky!? If the single cover has to be tame, we hope the video really goes there. RiRi recently shot the clip with director Melina. It will be released soon.
