“Russian Roulette” debuts on Billboard Hot 100

“Russian Roulette”, Rihanna’s first single from her upcoming album, debuted at #100 on Billboard Hot 100 and at #62 on Billboard R&B 100. As we already posted, the song debuted at #35 on Billboard Pop Songs.

This is great! It is making the Hot 100 on its first week airplay alone – without a comercial release! The song had more than 3 million views on YouTube in just one week!

Don’t forget to request the song on your local radio stations. It will be available on iTunes on November 3rd.

In other news, “Run This Town”, by Jay-Z feat. Rihanna and Kanye West, falled from #4 to #5 on Billboard Hot 100. Worldwide, the track is #6!

Rihanna Recruits The-Dream, Young Jeezy For ‘Hard’

Rihanna’s Rated R will come out November 23 and feature new collaborations with the man behind her biggest hit so far. The-Dream, who wrote “Umbrella,” penned a couple of tracks for the new LP.

“Me and Rihanna, she just cut the last of the two records we did. It’s a record called ‘Rock Star,’ ” the singer-song writer divulged earlier this week, backstage at the Izod Center in New Jersey. “The first record is a record called ‘Hard,’ which features [Young] Jeezy. Both of those records are pretty insane.”

Rihanna’s leading man in the music video for “Russian Roulette”

A member from RihannaForums.com, called Kyrie Eleison, made a thread about who shall be Rihanna’s leading man in the music video for “Russian Roulette”:

I was just watching E! News and caught a quick interview with the fine piece of manhood who shall be Ms. Fenty’s leading man in the video for “Russian Roulette”. His name is Jesse Williams and he plays one of the new doctors on Grey’s Anatomy this season. He was sporting fake tattoos (full sleeves at that) in the interview, he said that they were left over from the video shoot with her, that the shoot was fun, that she’s a sweet girl, very talented and that they spent a few hours together.
