The superstar scores her 12th Hot 100 No. 1, while the Lumineers' folk-rock 'Ho Hey' completes a lengthy journey to the top 10.

As previously reported, Rihanna's "Diamonds" rises 2-1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song replaces Maroon 5's "One More Night" (1-2) atop the list after a nine-week reign.

With her 12th Hot 100 topper, Rihanna ascends higher into rarefied historical chart air, as she ties Madonna and the Supremes for the fourth-most leaders in the ranking's 54-year history. Only the Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (18) and Michael Jackson (13) have sent more titles to the top.

There's a shiny new No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, as Rihanna's "Diamonds" rises 2-1. The song dethrones Maroon 5's "One More Night" (1-2) after a nine-week reign.

With her 12th Hot 100 topper, Rihanna ties Madonna and the Supremes for the fourth-most leaders in the chart's 54-year history. (The Supremes' sum does not include Diana Ross' six solo No. 1s.) Only the Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (18) and Michael Jackson (13; also not counting the Jackson 5's four No. 1s) have sent more titles to the top of the Hot 100.

WHEN BLACK FRIDAY COMES: Today's HITS album sales chart has just closed and we’re already peering into our crystal ball for next week, folks, thanks to one-day sales reports from those retailers around the country who haven’t succumbed to tryptophan shock. Heading into holiday weekend, our retail experts ask for your indulgence, with a greater than usual margin of error due to cranberry consumption.

Look for Def Jam/IDJ chanteuse Rihanna’s Unapologetic to sell between 240-260k, her biggest debut ever, which is probably good enough to make her #1 next week. [READ MORE]

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — It's so weird how 48 hours ago feels like it happened to someone else. Mexico City is a blur. Toronto, and the wee, indie movie theater-ish venue with its punctual crowd and assigned seating, is a distant memory. We've been calling it Stockholm Syndrome because it's day three of Rihanna's 777 Tour and we've given ourselves fully to the bizarro circumstance of being on tour with one of the most beloved pop stars in the world.

Rihanna is dominating the magazine circuit this era. After covering ‘Vogue’ for the second time, and stripping off for ‘GQ’s Men Of The Year issue, she scores Billboard‘s November 24th cover! The blurry cover is an outtake from her ‘Unapologetic’ album shoot and features the wig snatching headline ‘The World Is Hers’. Some of her astonishing achievements are listed on it. The best selling digital artist of all time has sold 8.7 million albums and 58 million tracks. Not bad for someone aged just 24, and whom has been around for just seven years!

Rihanna is currently on her ’777′ tour, a flying seven-day trip around the globe that will bring her to intimate venues. The first show kicked off on Wednesday in Mexico, and she played Toronto last night. Today, she plays Stockholm, and tomorrow it’s Paris. On Sunday, it’s Berlin and on Monday, it’s London. Then on Tuesday, her last show will take place in New York which is when the new album drops in stores! [SOURCE]

The Guardian
You don't even have to listen to Rihanna's seventh album to set alarm bells ringing. You merely have to look at its track listing. There, sandwiched between a collaboration with singer Mikky Ekko called Stay and the intriguingly titled Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary comes track 10: Nobody's Business (feat. Chris Brown). Uh-oh.

Rihanna stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week, and was asked about her interest in starting a family. Rihanna was then asked if she wants to wait until she is involved with someone before having kids.

“I would prefer to, you know, have a full family. I’m pretty sure I could handle if I had to on my own but that’s not what I’m striving for,” she answered. In addition to appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Rihanna also has a cover spread in GQ magazine’s latest issue.
