Rihanna remixes the cover of Rated R for Rated R: Remixed, a collection of 10 songs from her fourth album reworked by dance remixer Chew Fu. The May 25th release should hold fans off until her next project, on which she is working with Rico Love, Timbaland, and Sean Garrett, among others.

The “Rude Boy” singer is currently on tour in Europe, where she will shoot a video for “Te Amo” in Paris with director Anthony Mandler.

‘GMA’ SUMMER CONCERT 2010 & 1 BIG WEEKEND LINEUPS ANNOUNCED

# “Good Morning America” today announced its sizzling 2010 Summer Concert Series lineup with the hottest chart-topping acts in the US. From mega-watt stars Rihanna (on August 20), Black Eyed Peas and Alicia Keys to pop sensations the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, and Miley Cyrus to country superstars Sugarland and Lady Antebellum, “GMA” will be rocking out all summer long in Central Park. Viewers interested in joining “GMA” in Central Park are encouraged to arrive at Rumsey Playfield via the 69th Street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6 a.m., when the park opens to the public.

# Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles announced the line up this morning on his breakfast show. Rihanna, Pendulum, Biffy Clyro and JLS top the bill on the main stage on May 23, with Vampire Weekend and You Me at Six headlining the In New Music We Trust stage. The Big Weekend, Radio 1’s flagship music event, will be broadcast on the station, with an interactive presence online at bbc.co.uk/radio1 and live performances available to watch on demand. There will be highlights on BBC Three and extended performances can be seen via the Red Button on digital TV during the weekend.

TIMBALAND AND RICO LOVE WORKING ON NEW RIHANNA ALBUM

In an exclusive interview with Rap-Up TV, Rico Love reveals that he was in the studio last week working on Rihanna’s new album with Timbaland. “We did some amazing, amazing records,” says the songwriter-producer known for his work with Beyoncé and Usher. “The energy was high. Timbaland is a genius.”

Rico shared a few more details about the project’s direction. “The tone of the music that I did for Rihanna with Timbaland is extremely sexy—amazingly sexy, aggressive, unapologetic. She’s one of the sexiest women in the world, so I wanted to make sure we did a record to showcase that.” Just last month, Sean Garrett told Rap-Up.com that he had finished a “humongous radio record” for the pop star’s fifth album.

RIHANNA HAS A SPECIAL FANS GIFTS ROOM

Apparently Rihanna might have a room at her house where she keeps all the presents fans send her. The Barbadian born singer keeps all the gifts and letters she receives from admirers around the world and has a large “theatre room” where she stores them all. She said: “I keep them in my theatre at home. Well, it’s supposed to be a theatre room but it has just become a storage room. “I put everything that my fans give me in there. Letters, gifts, all that stuff.”

It’s good to know that she will have a nice place for the last fanbook she got from us. Rihanna has been touring the world to promote her latest album, ‘Rated R’ and was last week hospitalised in Switzerland for an injured rib after hurting herself during her sell-out concert at the Hallenstadion venue, in Zurich, but her representatives later confirmed it was not a serious injury and she was continuing with the tour.

TOUR REVIEW: LAST GIRL ON EARTH TOUR IN PARIS

London hasn’t had the best of times recently as far as divas are concerned, with Whitney Houston having more than a problem or two at her O2 shows. But fear not, for there is a diva heading in this direction who is tearing her way through Europe with a gig that definitely won’t have people leaving early.

Rihanna, still only 22, delivered a high-energy show in Paris spanning her four albums, featuring elaborate sets and costumes that would make other singers envious. The young Barbadian has an impressive back catalogue to choose from on her Last Girl On Earth tour, strutting around a car wreck for Shut Up And Drive before straddling the cannon of a pink tank and writhing between dancers dressed as monsters for Disturbia.

She was a little stiff from a rib injury, but the odd drop of the shoulder and swing of the hips gave a glimpse of what she will be capable of when fully fit. Her vocals put Whitney to shame on Hate That I Love You and Rehab, before she switched things up a gear after a brief break for a costume change. Don’t Stop The Music, SOS and Take A Bow got the French crowd jumping before a medley encore finishing with Umbrella made sure everyone was there until the very last beat. If this is what she’s like only half fit, then people won’t be feeling short changed when she plays at London’s O2 Arena on May 10 and 11.

Rihanna shows off her legs for days while shooting her new music “Te Amo” music video in Paris on Thursday (April 29). Anthony Mandler, who has directed over a dozen of Rihanna’s videos (”Russian Roulette” and “Disturbia”), will once again be at the helm for this vid.

“Thanks to all of Rihanna fans for the long list of suggestions,” he tweeted. “We’re gonna follow our instincts and give you guys something special.” Rihanna’s next concert is on Saturday in Hamburg, Germany! FYI: Ri is wearing Giuseppe Zanotti Design lace-up boots.
