However it wasn’t until a year later that she scored her first Official Singles Chart Number 1 with Into the Groove, which incidentally, is her biggest ever selling track. To date, as a lead artist, Madonna has enjoyed 59 Top 10 hits (including 13 Number 1s).

Want Rihanna's next record? Better start saving. The Barbados-born singer, 24, is set to release her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, on Nov. 16, but superfans can pre-order a special deluxe version of the record now -- for a whopping $250.

Described as a "limited edition art piece for a true collector," the Diamonds Executive Platinum Box comes packed with super-exclusive extras, including a handwritten personal note from the star and a custom-made white-and-silver View-Master with a "vintage reel of never-before-released 3-D images" of her style evolution.
